Youth PAL course and Shooting Camp\nThe Chase & District Fish & Game Club together with Leslie & Walt Koshynsky are pleased to offer a Youth PAL Course & Shooting Camp for young people from the Age of 12 to 17. This will run August 6th and 7th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Chase & District Fish and Game Club range (724 Turtle Valley Road). Students will spend the mornings taking the Canadian Firearms Course and the afternoons shooting. Emphasis will be placed on safety. Lunch will be provided however\, if you have special dietary needs\, please bring lunch. Participants are asked to bring ear protection\, eye protection and a pen. There will be a limited amount of safety equipment available but if possible\, please bring your own.\nShooting will be with certified coachess who have coached Arctic Winter Games shooters\, Canada Winter Games shooters and some Olympic shooters. A high emphasis will be placed on safety and shooting will be with close supervision. We are planning to shoot several different firearms actions so that students will be familiar with a variety of firearms.\nSpace is limited to 12 students. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Traditional Bow Hunters of BC have asked CDFGC to host their Annual Rendezvous at our range (724 Turtle Valley Road) on the long weekend in May 20\,21\,22\,2023. \nShooting will begin at 8 am on Saturday. Bow hunters will be camping and tenting and staying at various camp grounds and hotels in our area. CDFGC will be providing a breakfast and lunch concession. Visitors and Spectators are welcome to attend to see what it is all about and watch some great archery! Club members will be busy helping put this event on. SUMMARY:Trap and Skeet Practice - 2nd Sunday of the Month
DESCRIPTION:Starting at 10am  at 724 Turtle Valley Road (The Range) Trap and Skeet Practice.  $6 a round of 25 clays. New comers are always welcome and Guests. Guest Fee is $5.  There is a 20 gauge semi-auto for use for ladies and youth lessons if you are interested in trying out this sport. We also have extra 12 gauge shotguns for use. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. If you do not have a PAL we will have someone available to stand by you and help supervise for safety at all times. Shotgun shells are available to buy for use at $15 a box. Only 7.5 8 and 9 shot are allowed on the Trap and Skeet range.  For more information call Helen or William Dalin at 250-679-8019.
